Our Winter Storm Watch was upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning just minutes ago! While the NWS is going with a slightly higher storm-total accumulation of 4-10 inches, accumulations around here should be around 4-6 inches. Warmer air near the surface and warm soil/pavement temperatures will likely limit accumulations today. Since air temperatures will continue to drop through today and into this evening a majority of our accumulations should occur tonight. It will also highly depend on how hard the snow falls!
We'll see what things look like when I get off work at 6:00 PM CST...
We're getting some light snow already, so we'll see what the warmer air this afternoon does to it.
More later...
