Okay, so I'm driving home tonight from being out with the guys from work and I hear INXS on the radio... Am I hearing this right? The group has gotten back together and have a new song!?! Oh my! Apparently the song is called "Pretty Vegas" and really, it isn't half bad for an attempt at coming back with a new album... Maybe you should just go check it out.
Anyhow, yes, was out with guys tonight. Not much happenin' up here in Grand Forks. Played some cards, had a few drinks, then went out for a few more drinks at Babylon. Or so we thought. I can't believe the place shut-down. It looked like the place actually shut it's doors, which, unfortunately, is a sad thing, given the place wasn't really that bad. Now, given I only went to the place once - and that one time they were out of Killian's (one of only a few beers I actually like) and also was out of Crown Royal, when I attempted to order a Crown and Coke... it was a decent place. Apparently, they didn't attract the crowds they needed.
By the way, Monday nights are very popular nights at Whitey's. I don't think I've ever seen the place so full! They have this thing on Monday nights, I guess, where they have 3 dice and if you roll and beat the dealer (the bartender) your drinks are free. So, considering that - plus the fact that all the college students are back in town, it was pretty crowded. The women were out in full force... and even though I'm not particularly looking, there were plenty there that were lookin' pretty fine! ;)
Anyhow, folks - it's late and I have to be work in the morning! I haven't been sleeping well lately and I've been tired as hell at work the past few days. So, I should be getting to bed to get some much needed rest!
