Not so long ago, the New England Patriots were undefeated. Then came Super Bowl XLII and New York Giants... and Eli Manning. What was a rather boring 3 quarters of football, became a rather exciting game. Watching Tom Brady getting sacked 5 times on a Sunday afternoon quickly turned into one of the greatest days of my life. Not only because I absolutely hate everything the Patriots stand for, but to see their undefeated season end against Peyton's brother, Eli.

Since I've now had time to let it all sink in, I've been reliving some of the best days of my life. So, here they are...

09_ Tuesday, August 19, 1997: Move-in day at Valparaiso University. Living on my own terms for the first time - and the beginning of a memorable 4 years of college.

08_ Sunday, February 3, 2008: Patriots lose to the NY Giants in Super Bowl XLII... in dramatic fashion.

07_ Monday, March 30, 1987: Indiana Hoosiers win the NCAA Nat'l Championship on a last second shot by Keith Smart...

06_ Sunday, May 17, 1999: Departed for my first time storm-chasing in the Plains. Great times with VUSIT for 10 days, but no tornadoes...

05_ Sunday, May 20, 2001: Spring Commencement at Valparaiso University. I officially enter the "real world!"

04_ Saturday, January 21, 1995: My first real date... Went to a movie (Dumb & Dumber) and dinner at Applebee's with Dana Morgan (a co-worker at Arby's). Is it depressing that I actually remember this!?!

03_ Wednesday, April 11, 2001: First tornado I ever observed, first hand - near Oxford, IA.
