Okay, I had a meeting to attend earlier and while eastbound on Demers I noticed a light pole decorated with Christmas lights spiraling upward with a lighted snowflake adorning the top.

First off, what the hell is the purpose of this?

And second off, I don't want to see a damn snow flake in the middle of August. Damnit, Grand Forks, leave those things out of sight, until December! ;)

If any of you living nearby find yourselves traveling through the area, and feel like head-butting your dashboard (like I almost wanted to!) - it's on Demers right across from the Firehouse, just after Washington.
