Even though the "Shiny's" (Shiny Toy Guns) aren't the same, I still have to support them. The new album goes on sale on Super Tuesday (Nov. 4th) from the Shiny's, but I've been able to hear the entire album already from their MySpace page. Actually, if you all can keep a secret I have my hands on a copy of the entire CD on my computer already. ;) It's so much different without Carah, but the new girl is growing on me. Sisely can certainly carry a tune and I still love the Shiny's for finding a new lead vocalist that can sing the way she does.

On the other hand, I fell in love with Carah. She has one of the most beautiful voices I've heard in a long time and it's impossible to just cast her aside. I've read all over the 'net two different stories... That Carah quit the band... and that the boys just went a different direction and left her behind. Carah wrote a few different blog replies that the latter was pretty much what happened. I tend to believe Carah rather than the rest of the band...

Very recently, we all found out that Carah now has a newly formed band and that they've been working on new material. Versant is the new band and they have a page up on MySpace already. Carah and the guys have a Demo up on the page for "Push Away," what may become their first single. If so, it sounds like it's an excellent song. Carah also has a video I just had to share here. Not only is Carah someone I regard as a wonderful artist, she's darn cute, and just seems so damn lovable. Too bad there isn't any way I can convince her to dump that guy of her's and come cuddle with me. ;)
