And while I'm here, I may as well share some melancholy feelings late tonight.
I don't think it has totally sunk in yet, that tomorrow is the last forecasting shift for me, at Meridian.
Beginning Thursday, I will be moving to the Road Weather Department at work and as I said previously, I will be taking over an MDSS support role.
I'm a little sad tonight, thinking of the co-workers I won't be seeing as much, but at the same time a little excited. In some respects, it feels like September 7, 2004 all over again. Starting anew, with a new position, and looking forward to meeting new people in this profession. This time, however, locally in the company and across the country.
I'm looking forward to stepping into a larger role with more responsibilities and am hoping I can represent Meridian the best I can in the Road Weather and MDSS industry.
